On a wheel loader, the fender catches mud and stones thrown up by the wheels before they reach the cab, windows, and engine compartment. A cracked or torn fender quickly ends up in pieces within a pile of materials. Front fender, rear fender: what each part carries

On an articulated loader, the front fenders are attached to the front chassis and follow the steering. The rear fenders cover the drive wheels and often serve as supports for footboards and lights. Some also hold the mirrors or lighting brackets. Specify the position, front or rear, and the side, left or right. Choosing the right fender for your construction machine

A fender is fixed by welded or bolted brackets to the chassis, and their position varies from series to series. A fender from an L120E will not automatically fit an L120F. Provide us with the model, serial number, and photos of the mounting points: we compare with the dismantled part before offering it to you. All wheel loader parts are classified by brand and model.

Most often, the fender hits a pile of materials, a wall, or a block during tight maneuvering. Vibrations also eventually crack the mounting brackets, especially after a poorly repaired first impact. On construction machines working in material handling, a fender that hangs down or rubs against the tire should be removed quickly before it gets torn off.

Yes, if the sheet metal is only bent or if a bracket is broken: a dent repair and a weld are sufficient. A torn, heavily corroded, or warped fender along its entire length is more easily replaced by an original used fender, which has the correct mounting points without adjustments.

The price depends on the machine size and the fender position: a rear fender for a large loader does not cost the same as a front fender for a compact loader. The price is shown on the product sheet when the part is sold as-is. Otherwise, we provide a quote after checking the reference and condition.
