Used Construction Blades for Bulldozers, Motor Graders, and Excavators

55 produits disponibles

A blade that doesn’t match your machine’s mounting points stays in stock. Beyond width or price, it’s the carrier machine that determines compatibility: brand, model, and the mounting of arms and cylinders. Codimatra dismantles spare blades from carefully selected construction machines, then inspects them in our workshop in Castelculier before sale. Filter the list by machine type or brand, or browse our entire used equipment range. Unsure? Call us at 05 53 96 16 43 with your machine model, and we’ll check compatibility with you.

Why Choose a Tested Used Construction Blade

OEM blades are ordered from the manufacturer, often with prices and lead times that can put your machine out of service for weeks. A used part provides a simpler solution to urgent needs: getting the machine back to work. On an earthmoving site, a few days’ downtime of a bulldozer often costs more than the price difference with a manufacturer’s blade. Every blade sold by Codimatra comes from a machine dismantled in our workshop, thoroughly inspected before listing.

With over 40 years of expertise and around 17,000 references in stock, we know the specific mountings for each manufacturer. Our advisors verify compatibility with you before ordering—not after delivery. If only the bottom edge of your original blade is worn, a set of cutting edges and end bits may suffice: ask us before replacing the entire blade.

Used Earthmoving Blades: Bulldozer, Grader, or Excavator?

  • Bulldozer blade: mounted at the front of the bulldozer on push arms, it pushes, spreads, and levels materials. Available in straight, semi-U, or U shapes depending on the volume to move. See our used bulldozer blades.
  • Grader blade: also called a moldboard, it pivots on the machine’s circle to precisely grade platforms, shoulders, and slopes.
  • Excavator blade: attached to the chassis of a mini or wheeled excavator, it is used for backfilling and stabilizes the machine during digging. See our used excavator blades.
  • Articulated or six-way blade: on compact bulldozers, it raises, tilts, and swivels to grade slopes without repositioning the machine.

Used Grader Blade: Moldboard and Cutting Edges

The grader blade works on finishing, shaping the base or ditch profiles. For a used grader blade, first check the straightness of the moldboard, then the wear of the bolted cutting edges along the bottom. The moldboard also slides laterally on its circle; worn slides cause imprecise adjustments. For other machine parts, our used grader section groups dedicated offers.

Identifying the Blade Compatible with Your Machine

The same model may have several mountings depending on year and options. Start with the serial number on the manufacturer’s plate to know the original configuration. Then compare mounting points, center distances and pin diameters, as well as the position of lift and tilt cylinders. For articulated or six-way blades, check the orientation cylinders and hoses: these blades do not fit bulldozers designed for fixed blades without hydraulic modifications.

A blade from a similar model might fit but may require adjustment of lugs or arms—better to know before ordering. Finally, inspect the moldboard to ensure it’s not warped, and check the condition of cutting edges and end bits—these wear parts are easier to replace than the entire blade.

Information Needed to Request a Quote

  • The machine’s brand and model, for example a Caterpillar bulldozer or a Kubota mini excavator.
  • The serial number from the manufacturer’s plate.
  • Photos of the current blade and its mounts.
  • The manufacturer’s reference of the part, if you have it.
  • The type of work planned: earthmoving, grading, or backfilling.

Caterpillar Blades and Other Construction Equipment Brands

For a Caterpillar bulldozer or grader, the blade, arms, and cylinders form a unit. Caterpillar mountings vary between series: note your exact machine reference before choosing. A Caterpillar blade from another series can fit if you verify pins and lugs. On bulldozers, also note whether the blade is mounted on external push arms or a C-frame, as this affects compatibility.

Our stock also includes blades from other brands such as Komatsu, Case, Hitachi, Kubota, and Volvo. Your model not listed? Call us at 05 53 96 16 43 with your serial number, and we’ll help find compatible blades. The same applies for mini excavator blades like the used Kubota blade, where mountings often differ between generations.

Codimatra: Specialist in Used Construction Parts

Used construction blades are also available on marketplaces or equipment trading sites. The difference lies in quality control: at Codimatra, every used construction part is dismantled, identified, and inspected by our own teams in Castelculier. Donor machines are carefully chosen for their overall condition, minimizing surprises during assembly. You speak with an advisor who knows the equipment and can compare your machine’s measurements with the available part. The right blade means long-term reliable operation for your bulldozer, grader, or excavator.

When a bulldozer stops, delivery time is just as critical as price. Once compatibility is confirmed, your blade is prepared, secured on a pallet, and entrusted to a carrier specialized in heavy parts. We provide estimated delivery times before finalizing orders, both domestically and internationally. For urgent projects, mention this at first contact: our advisors guide you to available blades and help schedule your machine’s downtime precisely.

Used Blades, Buckets, and Other Construction Equipment

Note your machine’s brand, model, and serial number, then measure the blade width and the center distance of mounting points. Send these details along with photos of the push frame to our team. We’ll compare your measurements with available used construction blades before any order to avoid returns.

Adaptation is sometimes possible but may require modifying the mounts and sometimes the hydraulic system. We recommend an original blade designed for your model: mounting points, weight, and cylinder travel remain consistent. Our advisor will guide you to the easiest-to-install option.

Blades are shipped on pallets or via transport adapted for large parts from Castelculier near Agen. We deliver in France and internationally. Delivery time depends on destination and carrier, and you’ll be informed at order so you can plan machine downtime.
