A rotary joint, also known as a swivel joint, is a mechanical part found on construction machinery. It enables hydraulic fluid to be transferred from a fixed area to rotating or oscillating components, primarily on crawler and wheeled excavators.

On an excavator, this component specifically allows the turret to rotate 360° while still receiving the hydraulic pressure necessary to operate the attachments on the arm, such as the boom or bucket. Without it, turret rotation would interrupt the hydraulic circuit.
