What is the difference between single-acting and double-acting distributors?

A single-acting distributor supplies only one cylinder chamber, with the return done by gravity or spring. A double-acting distributor supplies both chambers for active movement in both directions. Double-acting is standard on construction equipment as it provides power and precision in both directions of operation.

How can I tell if a hydraulic distributor is worn?

A cylinder that drifts under load, slow movements despite the pump maintaining pressure, or imprecise control often indicate internal leaks in the distributor. Have your mechanic confirm the diagnosis, then contact Codimatra with the part reference to find a compatible replacement distributor or spool.

How do I get a quote for a used hydraulic distributor?

Click on "Request a quote" from the distributor's page or call the team at 05 53 96 16 43 with your machine's brand, model, and serial number. If possible, provide the stamped reference on the body, the number of sections and the type of control, manual or electric: a technician will reply regarding availability and price.
