Used Poclain Cylinder
11 produits disponibles
Poclain has long ceased manufacturing excavators, yet models 61, 75, and 170CKB are still in operation. For these machines, new cylinders have become scarce, and used parts are often the only option. Codimatra recovers cylinders from dismantled Poclain excavators, inspects them in our workshop, and identifies them by machine type. Note that this is distinct from Poclain Hydraulics, which produces hydraulic motors; here, we refer specifically to the cylinders of the Poclain excavator brand.

Used Poclain Spare Parts: A Fleet That Keeps Running
The Poclain brand left its mark on French construction sites with its hydraulic excavators before its excavator division was taken over by Case in the late 1980s. The machines still in service are robust, but their parts are no longer listed in catalogs. Our used Poclain spare parts come from dismantled machines, allowing you to keep a 75 model working without the need for custom fabrication.
Poclain Cylinders in Stock by Function
- Poclain Bucket Cylinder: the most common function.
- Poclain Boom Cylinder and stick cylinder.
- Digging Cylinder and loader steering cylinder.
- Bridge locking and stabilizer cylinders for wheeled excavators.
- Applicable machines: 61, 61P, 75, 81B, 81CK, 170CKB, 350B, and P10.
Used Double-Acting Hydraulic Cylinders: The Poclain Case
The boom, stick, and bucket cylinders on these excavators are double-acting: oil pushes the piston in one direction, then the other. A boom cylinder that won’t hold its position often has a worn piston seal that allows oil to pass between chambers. For machines of this age, also check the pins before reinstalling the part. Our complete range of used hydraulic cylinders, from all brands, is available on the product range page.
How to Identify a Cylinder Without Documentation
- The excavator model and, if readable, the serial number plate.
- The cylinder’s function and its mounting side.
- The rod center-to-center distance retracted and extended.
- The rod diameter and the outer diameter of the barrel.
- Photos of the clevises and ports, which often substitute for worn-off markings.
Beyond Cylinders: The Hydraulic Circuit
A cylinder leak is sometimes accompanied by wear elsewhere in the hydraulic system. On a tracked excavator, the rotary joint transfers oil from the turret to the chassis: a worn rotary joint causes power loss during travel. Find used rotary joints and used Poclain hydraulics. For the entire brand, rely on over 40 years of dismantling experience at Castelculier.
Rarely. Some common wear parts are still available as aftermarket components, but original cylinders for Poclain excavators are no longer manufactured. For these machines, a used cylinder dismantled from the same model remains the most reliable solution, as custom fabrication takes longer and costs more.
The two names share the same origin but now refer to two separate activities. Poclain Hydraulics manufactures hydraulic motors and transmissions for various manufacturers. Poclain excavators are no longer produced; the cylinders on this page come from these older machines.
The price depends on the function, model, and condition found during inspection. For an older excavator, compare the cost mainly with that of a custom fabrication, which is the only other option when the original part is no longer cataloged. Our Poclain cylinders are priced on a quote basis after dimension verification.
