Liebherr Axial Piston Pumps: Proprietary Design

Liebherr designs and manufactures most of its own hydraulic components, including the axial piston pumps used on its machines, like the DPVO open-circuit and LPVD series. Open-circuit pumps power the working equipment, while closed-circuit pumps serve hydrostatic transmissions and some slewing drives. Their variable displacement adjusts flow to demand. An original Liebherr hydraulic pump maintains these factory settings, which an aftermarket pump may not replicate accurately.

An original used pump is justified when the machine needs to be ready quickly without waiting for a factory order, or when the machine's value does not justify paying network retail prices.
