What is the price of a used JCB cylinder?

It depends on the machine and the function: a mini-excavator 8016 cylinder and a JS330 boom cylinder differ significantly in weight and value. Some JCB cylinders show a fixed price on their listing; others are priced on request after verifying the reference.

Can a 3CX cylinder fit a 4CX?

Not necessarily. The two backhoe loaders look similar, but dimensions and mountings of some cylinders differ, evolving from one generation to another. Send us the JCB reference engraved on the cylinder and the machine’s serial number: we verify compatibility before making any offer.

How can I tell if a JCB cylinder needs replacing?

Perform a test with the equipment raised, engine off, and no one underneath: if the arm descends, oil is leaking from one chamber to the other. A leak at the wiper with a sound rod can be fixed by replacing seals. A bent or pitted rod, or a body damaged by impact, requires cylinder replacement.
