Question 1

Does Codimatra offer 10L hydraulic reservoirs for mini-excavators?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Small capacity hydraulic reservoirs (5 to 15L), including 10L, are the most common references in our stock for mini-excavators. Used Kubota reservoirs, as well as brands Yanmar, Komatsu, and Bobcat, are well represented. Please provide the exact model of your machine or the manufacturer's reservoir reference to our team at 05 53 96 16 43 to check availability.

Question 2

Is an original used hydraulic reservoir compatible with my machine?

Accepted Answer

An original used hydraulic reservoir comes from a machine of the same brand and model: the fittings, mounts, and capacity are identical to the original part. This is the most straightforward solution for a replacement without adaptation. If your machine has multiple production years or variants (e.g., Komatsu PC35 in MR or R version), please specify the exact variant to avoid compatibility errors.

Question 3

What is the role of the hydraulic reservoir in a construction machine's hydraulic circuit?

Accepted Answer

The hydraulic reservoir stores the hydraulic fluid in an open circuit, ensures partial cooling during transitions between work cycles, and allows depressurization of the circuit. It also plays a role in separating air trapped in the fluid. A faulty reservoir (crack, corrosion, degraded seal) can cause fluid loss and damage hydraulic pumps due to low pressure during suction.

Question 4

How can I identify the reference of my hydraulic reservoir before ordering?

Accepted Answer

The most reliable way is to note the machine's serial number, visible on the manufacturer's plate on the cabin or chassis, and provide it to our team. If the manufacturer's reservoir reference is visible on the part (label or engraving), it allows direct identification. If none of these details are available, the machine's exact model and year of commissioning are sufficient in most cases.

Question 5

Does Codimatra deliver used hydraulic reservoirs outside France?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our fast delivery service covers the main European countries. For bulky parts like some large-capacity hydraulic reservoirs, it is recommended to confirm packaging and freight conditions before shipment. Contact our team at 05 53 96 16 43 for any international orders.
