Q: What types of electronic components are available at Codimatra?

Codimatra offers a wide range of electronic components essential for the proper operation of your construction machinery. Our stock notably includes the electronic control unit , the fuse box for electrical protection, and the printed circuit board dedicated to onboard controls. Beyond these assemblies, you will find active and passive parts: resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, integrated circuits, and relays. The offer covers common references as well as specific parts from dismantled machines, meeting the precise needs of maintenance professionals and private individuals.

Q: Are used electronic components reliable and tested?

At Codimatra, used components undergo rigorous testing before being offered for sale. Each part is checked to ensure it is in working condition. This process allows us to offer refurbished components at reduced prices while maintaining a satisfactory level of quality for your projects or repairs.

Q: What is the difference between active and passive components?

Passive components (resistors, capacitors) store or dissipate energy without an external power source, while active components (transistors, integrated circuits) require a power supply to amplify signals or control electrical flow. On construction machinery, these components work together: the electronic control unit combines active microprocessors and passive resistors to stabilize data. Likewise, a printed circuit board often couples active relays with a passive fuse box , ensuring hydraulic precision and safety on the worksite.

Q: Does Codimatra offer obsolete or rare electronic components?

Codimatra is a strategic partner for acquiring discontinued or hard-to-find parts . Maintaining robust machines after production of original parts has ceased is a challenge: finding an electronic control unit or a printed circuit board for a machine from the 90s is often complex. Thanks to dismantling equipment, we offer tested components that are unavailable new. Our stock includes critical parts such as older generation fuse boxes , avoiding costly wiring harness modifications. If a rare reference is not listed online, our physical inventory might hold the solution. In case of obsolescence, contact the Codimatra experts with your manufacturer references (Caterpillar, Liebherr, CASE, Volvo) for a thorough search tailored to your urgency.

Question 3

How can I order electronic components from Codimatra?

Accepted Answer

To obtain electronic parts from Codimatra, the process primarily involves requesting a quote, a crucial step to ensure the technical compatibility of the components with your construction machine. On our website, the "Request a Quote" option appears on most of our in-stock references because each used part (electronic control unit, printed circuit board, or joystick) has its own history and characteristics.

Question 4

What is the difference between active and passive components?

Accepted Answer

Passive components (resistors, capacitors) store or dissipate energy without an external power source, while active components (transistors, integrated circuits) require a power supply to amplify signals or control electrical flow.
